Numanovic claims that genre does not define her, but the dominant tone of her songs includes sounds that resemble pop, rock, soul, sevdah, flamenco and reggae. Her solo career started with the song Mrvice sunca, continuing with the songs Run, Ko je s kim, Infrared (feat. OiKo) and Daleko (feat. Lava Fenyer). The following 11 songs from the debut album Blista recently layed out the foundation for a successful future of Esma’s solo career.

The album was recorded under the supervision of experienced producers. Eric Bajramovic and Alan Omerovic took care of quality sound recording while mixing and mastering were entrusted to Eric Bajramovic. The music producer of the album, Damir Imamovic, initiated and fully supervised the creation, recording and editing of all 11 songs. With this, and all the efforts of the amazing artists involved, the crew ensured that the album Blista becomes a work of art.
